Download Game Client
To start playing on Interlude PW, you need to download and install the game client. The full client includes Perfect World version 1.8.7 with all necessary patches and configurations pre-installed. Simply download, extract, and launch the game.
Choose the download method that works best for you. We recommend using the torrent for the fastest and most reliable download experience. All mirrors contain the same client files.

Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install and launch the game:
- Download the game client using one of the links above
- Extract the archive to a folder of your choice (avoid paths with special characters)
- Run launcher.exe as administrator
- Log in with your account credentials and enjoy the game!
Client Errors
Experiencing issues with the game client? Find solutions to common problems below.
Take these steps one at a time and check if it helped after completing each:
- Add the game directory to your antivirus exception list
- Start the game from launcher and click Verify button, then once the process finishes, check again
- Install Microsoft Visual C++
- Install Microsoft .NET Framework
- Remove the compatibility mode from elementclient.exe (Properties » Compatibility » Uncheck "Run in compatibility mode")
- Press the Win + R key combination, enter the dxdiag command and switch to the 64bit version in the window that opens
- Reinstall your graphic card drivers and check again
- Update your Windows (if your system is outdated it might be missing some libraries required to run the game)
- Disable hardware virtualization in BIOS
Take these steps one at a time and check if it helped after completing each:
- Go to Control Panel to move your toon to the safe spot
- Open Interlude/element/userdata and delete systemsettings.ini file and Layout folder
- Add the game directory to your antivirus exception list
- If problem still persists, click Verify button on launcher and check again
- Redownload / reinstall the client
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll / VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
Update Visual C++ for Visual Studio 2015.

- If problem still persists, click Verify button on launcher and check again
The game file is corrupted. Click Verify button in the game launcher, then once the process finishes, check again.

- Start the game from launcher and click Verify button, then once the process finishes, check again
- Close all third-party applications (browser, antivirus, etc.), the game may not have enough RAM
- Uncheck "Read only" in the game folder settings (Right-click on the folder » Properties)
- Set the graphics to a minimum by downloading systemsettings.ini from the attached files and copying it to element/userdata
- Redownload / reinstall the client
Take these steps one at a time and check if it helped after completing each:
- Reinstall DirectX, Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft .NET Framework
- Reinstall your graphic card drivers and check again
- Update your Windows (if your system is outdated it might be missing some libraries required to run the game)
- Try using the command sfc /scannow (Start » Run), the system will scan everything and try to replace corrupted files if cached copies exist
- Install DirectX 9.0c by running dxwebsetup.exe file located in Interlude/element/help/
- Reinstall your graphic card drivers
Other Issues
Solutions for other common in-game and connection issues.
This error may occur due to frequent client requests to the server. Try to wait 2-3 minutes, if it doesn't help, restart the client.

- Make sure that the server is online (check the status on the website, ask friends, etc.)
- Start the launcher.exe and check if your game is at its latest version. If it's not, let it update and check again
- Add the elementclient.exe file to your antivirus/firewall exception list
- Restart your router and computer
- Disable Windows Firewall
- Disable Windows Defender
- Try to use a VPN, turn it on, and turn it off after you have logged into the game
- Alternately redownload / reinstall the client
- Make sure you entered your account name and password correctly
- If you copy your account details manually, make sure there is no space there
- Activate your account using the link sent to your email
- Click Verify button in the game launcher, then once the process finishes, check again

Open Interlude/element/userdata and delete the Layout folder.
Run the launcher as admin and let it update to the current patch version.
Disable the unfreeze feature.
Click Verify button in the game launcher, then once the process finishes, check again.
- Try running the game as an administrator
- Move the game client folder to a folder that does not require administrator rights
This is the Google Drive limit, we can't do anything about it, unfortunately.
