You, along with Gui Linxin and Yin Yu, have escaped from Hueiwan Palace only to find your path blocked by Military Governor Cui Liang and his men. Cui Liang has dropped his mask of friendliness, revealing his true face. He said he wanted to eliminate you without unnecessary trouble, but since you so desperately wish to learn the truth before death, he won't deprive you of that pleasure.
