Description

Cui Liang says he tried to dissuade Pei Wei, but their opinions diverged on this matter. The root of their disagreement lies in the unique three-stage judicial system of the Jingxuan Sword Clan: divination of the past, analysis of the present, and verdict of the future. The Chamber of Arbiters, the highest authority of this system, has rendered its verdict: the existence of Yin Yu threatens the safety of the Green Sovereign, and therefore she must be eliminated. Pei Wei believes this decision must be obeyed unconditionally to prove his boundless devotion to the Sovereign. Cui Liang, however, believes that killing her sister is itself a manifestation of disrespect.
