Return of the Runes
Description
Shenhu divided his three runes in half: he placed the left halves in the release vessels on the statues at the cave entrances, and the right halves in the sealing vessels deep within the caves.
With his spiritual power, he created walls in the caves that constantly change and can be either real or illusory. These walls have two states: black - 'Yin' and white - 'Yang'. In the 'Yin' state, completely black sections of wall become solid and real, while completely white sections become illusory, allowing passage through them. In the 'Yang' state, black walls become illusory, while white walls become real. Shenhu also left yin-yang pearls in the caves so that the hero chosen by fate could switch between these states.
One who wishes to help Shenhu break the seal must visit three caves. At the entrance to each, they must take the left half of the rune, and in the depths - the right half. By joining them together, the complete rune must be placed in the release vessel at the entrance.
