You've spoken with Situ, who seems to believe that the time fluctuations in Morai caused by the Undying Dial have created a different time line from the one in Perfect World! The villagers of Elysium apparently never crossed over, so they were never killed. However, the mystery of the burning of Elysium village still exists.
